Things I believe
People need people
- We meet people for a reason, a season, a moment or a lifetime.
- If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go with a group.
- Say nice things to others. Show gratitude to the people around you.
Perfect is boring
- Test, get feedback quickly. Readjust as needed.
- Be present. It's the greatest gift you can give to others, but also to yourself.
- Two things can be true at once. Strong opinions, held loosely.
- Your availability is your best ability: “80% of success is showing up".
Attitude is a choice
- Mind is a muscle: grow your mindset.
- Have fun with it.
- Scared? Think: What would 10-year-old Olle do?
Take your own needs seriously.
- Start with the basics: Sleep, food, drink water, exercise and meeting friends. Build from there.
- Compare yourself to yourself.
- Practice identifying your thinking traps. Where do you get stuck?
- Practice self-compassion. Would you talk like this to your best friend? Be kind to yourself.
Strong opinions, held loosely.
- Learn from others. See what they have already figured out. Test it for yourself. Pick what is useful. Remember: do more of what works for you.
- Broaden your behavioural repertoire: learn to do more things, in different ways.
- Increase cognitive flexibility: think in various ways depending on what the situation requires. Use mental models.
Boundaries are your friend
- Remove before you add. Remember via negativa.
- Communicate assertively, work with boundaries. Boundaries make you surprisingly creative.
- Listen more than you talk.
Live what you teach
- Life is the greatest teacher. Be generous. Pay it forward.
- Life is a lifelong journey of learning. Till the die I die. Which hill am I willing to die on?
- Do the things I want, with the people I want, whenever I want, for as long as I want.
